Met de laatste wedstrijd gespeeld sluit Spandersbosch H1 een moeilijk seizoen af op de twaalfde plek in Poule B van de Overgangsklasse. Het doelsaldo vertelt het verhaal bondig: veertig keer raak aan de eigen kant, vijfenzeventig keer aan de andere kant. De slotfase verliep wisselvallig. Na een zege op Phoenix werd er niet meer gewonnen: een nipte uitnederlaag bij Reigers, een 4-4 thuis tegen Forescate en tot slot een zware 9-2 afgang in Goirle. Die laatste uitslag staat ook meteen te boek als de grootste nederlaag van het seizoen. De trend over het seizoen was stabiel — wat in dit geval betekent dat het ploegje consistent op hetzelfde niveau heeft gepresteerd, zonder al te grote uitschieters naar boven. De grootste zege van het jaar, die 3-4 bij Phoenix, geeft aan dat de ploeg op zijn dag wel kon meekomen.
