Met drie zeges op rij afgesloten — waaronder een 2-4 overwinning uit bij Leeuwarden — legde Spandersbosch D1 een solide seizoen neer. Vijftien zeges, vier remises en drie nederlagen over 22 wedstrijden tekenen een ploeg die structureel bovenaan meeblies, maar de koploper nooit echt heeft kunnen bijhouden. Het doelsaldo vertelt het sterkste verhaal: 82 doelpunten voor en 45 tegen geeft een positief saldo van plus 37. Ter vergelijking: de grootste zege van het seizoen was een 7-0 tegen Catwyck D1 in oktober. Aanvallend was er weinig te klagen; de enige echte groef was een 3-2 thuisnederlaag tegen Castricum D1, diezelfde club die uiteindelijk de poule afsloot als koploper.
