Positie 7 in de poule met 33 punten uit 22 wedstrijden (10 winst, 3 gelijk, 9 verlies, doelsaldo 61-52). ## Het seizoen Bijgewerkt op 1 juli 2026. Titelverdediger Kampong begon seizoen 2025/26 als landskampioen, maar de ploeg slaagde er niet in die status om te zetten in een constante plek in de top vier. Met negen verliespartijen in 22 wedstrijden bleef de Utrechtse club steken in de middenmoot — te veel punten weggegeven in de tweede helft van het seizoen om serieus mee te doen in de titelrace. Dat de ploeg wél van wanten weet, toonde de slotfase. Vier opeenvolgende zeges — onder meer een 6-5 thuis tegen Den Bosch en een 3-6 uitoverwinning op HDM — zetten de toon voor een sterk einde. De allerlaatste wedstrijd, zaterdag uit bij koploper Oranje-Rood, ging met 2-1 verloren; voor de seizoensbalans maakte dat weinig meer uit. ## Vernieuwd en zoekend Het vertrek van sterkhouders als de gebroeders Phijffer en keeper David Harte na de bekerfinale van 2024/25 liet sporen na. De vernieuwde selectie toonde aanvallende slagkracht — 61 doelpunten in 22 duels — maar ook een verdediging die te regelmatig werd gepuncteerd.
