Een seizoen dat de boeken ingaat als één van de meest doelrijke in de Derde klasse. Rijswijk D1 scoorde 140 keer in 22 wedstrijden en liet slechts 12 tegendoelpunten toe — een verdediging die de hele competitie vrijwel onaantastbaar bleef. Toch bleef de koppositie net buiten bereik: Rapid D1 was op de slotdag met 2-1 te sterk en pakte daarmee definitief de leidersplaats. Het is een bijzonder kleine marge waarmee een opmerkelijk sterk seizoen wordt besloten. Negentien overwinningen, twee remises en die ene eindstreepnederlaag — de tussenliggende maanden waren een aaneenschakeling van dominante prestaties. De 18-1 tegen Souburgh D1 staat als haarscherp symbool voor het niveauverschil dat Rijswijk het grootste deel van de competitie wist te creëren. Vier opeenvolgende zeges vlak voor de seizoensafsluiting, waaronder een 0-6 bij Shot D1 en een 8-0 thuis tegen Gilze-Rijen D1, onderstreepten dat de ploeg nergens wegviel.
