Twee nederlagen in 22 wedstrijden — dat is de balans waarmee Apeliotes H1 dit seizoen afsluit. Beide tegenslagen kwamen vroeg; daarna trok de ploeg een reeks van tien opeenvolgende zeges. Die eindigde niet met een rustige slotrit, maar met een 3-2 thuisoverwinning op Bemmel in de laatste speelronde: een tegenstander die tot het einde meevocht. ## Aanval als handelsmerk Met 97 doelpunten voor en 34 tegen staat er iets opmerkelijks in de eindbalans: gemiddeld meer dan vier doelpunten per wedstrijd aan de goede kant van de scorelijst. De 9-1 op Culemborg en de 7-0 op Ares geven de boventoon aan, maar ook uitwedstrijden als de 3-5 in Westerduiven laten zien dat de productiviteit niet alleen op eigen veld tot stand kwam. QZ was de enige ploeg die Apeliotes dit seizoen over de knie legde — de 2-3 begin maart bleef de enige echte wond.
