Positie 6 in de poule met 28 punten uit 22 wedstrijden (7 winst, 7 gelijk, 8 verlies, doelsaldo 70-48). ## Het seizoen Bijgewerkt op 1 juli 2026. Na 22 wedstrijden in de Tweede klasse Poule D ligt het seizoen van MHC Best H1 er op. De balans is gemengd: voldoende goals gescoord voor een positief saldo, maar te weinig consistentie om hoger te eindigen dan de zesde plek. De slotfase van het seizoen verliep stroef. Vier van de laatste vijf duels leverden geen winst op — met uitzondering van een sterke prestatie uit bij Civicum op 31 mei. De wedstrijden daarvoor en daarna brachten twee nederlagen en een gelijkspel, waaronder een thuis-verlies tegen Horst en een 1-1 op bezoek bij Uden als afsluiter. Dat is geen eindspurt die de eindstand opfleurt. ## Aanval draait, continuïteit ontbreekt Het seizoen kende wel momenten om op terug te kijken. De 10-1 tegen Don Quishoot begin april was de grootste zege en zegt iets over het scorend vermogen van Best H1. Zeventig goals in 22 wedstrijden is voor dit niveau een respectabel getal. Maar de zeven gelijke spelen en acht nederlagen laten zien dat omzetten in driepunters structureel te vaak mislukte. Maastricht H1 kende zulke problemen niet en liep in de stand onbereikbaar weg.
