Derde in de eindstand van de Eerste klasse Poule C, met 35 punten uit 22 wedstrijden — dat is het eindresultaat van een seizoen dat in essentie nooit echt van koers veranderde. De aanval liet zich niet onbetuigd: zestig doelpunten in de loop van het seizoen, waaronder een klinkende 7-0 op Goirle D1 begin mei. Maar ook de kwetsbaarheid was zichtbaar: de 5-1-afstraffing bij IJssel D1, een week later, liet zien dat de marge dun kan zijn. De slotfase tekende zich af in tweeeën. Na de zege op Goirle volgde verlies thuis tegen Zoetermeer — een domper. Maar op de laatste speeldag werd er gewonnen bij Etten-Leur, een afronding die tenminste op een opwaartse noot eindigde. De koploper Nieuwegein D1 was dit seizoen buiten bereik; die strijd lag elders in de poule. Derde worden in een twaalftal is geen schokkend resultaat, maar ook geen scherp genoeg voor wie hoger wil.
