## Een seizoen zonder verlies

Huizen H1 sloot de Overgangsklasse Poule A af zonder een enkele nederlaag. Negentien zeges en drie gelijke spelen over 22 wedstrijden — het is een cijfer dat voor zichzelf spreekt, maar de consistentie erachter verdient aandacht. Zowel aan- als achterin bleef het beeld het hele seizoen nagenoeg stabiel: de aanval produceerde vrijwel wekelijks en de achterhoede hield schade consequent beperkt.

De laatste maanden draaiden puur op momentum. Acht opeenvolgende zeges aan het einde van de competitie, waaronder een 4-0-overwinning op AthenA en een 5-1 tegen HGC. De slotdag thuis tegen Roomburg eindigde in 10-4 — de grootste zege van het seizoen, als afsluiter van een campagne zonder neergang.

Met achttien punten voorsprong op de nummer twee is de eindscore niet voor meerdere uitleg vatbaar. Huizen H1 was in deze poule de maat der dingen.
