Een doelpuntensaldo van +133 vertelt het verhaal van een ploeg die haar poule vrijwel foutloos doorliep. HSD D1 won twintig van de tweeëntwintig duels, en de enige competitiepuntenverlies buiten die ene nederlaag was één gelijkspel. Daarmee is de eindstand meer dan verdiend. ## Slotfase zonder rem De laatste acht duels gingen allemaal naar HSD. In die reeks zat een 9-0 thuis tegen Warande D6, een 7-0 uitoverwinning op Baarle D1 en een 1-9 buitenshuis bij Mistral D1 — de ploeg waarvan HSD in november ook al 15-0 won. Die laatste uitslag maakte de sluiting van een seizoen dat nooit echt spannend was, maar wel consequent.
