## Het seizoen

Bijgewerkt op 1 juli 2026.

Het seizoen 2025/2026 liet zien hoe smal de marge is op het hoogste niveau. Oranje-Rood D1 belandde na de reguliere competitie in de play-ins tegen Nijmegen D1 — twee wedstrijden waarin Hoofdklasse-behoud op het spel stond. Dat soort eindsprint tekent wat het seizoen was: overleven in een poule waar vrijwel elk punt telt.

## Continuïteit als fundament

De clubleiding koos na afloop voor rust op de staf: hoofdcoach Mark Dekker en assistent-coach Daphne van der Velden blijven ook de komende twee jaar aan het roer. Dat is een bewuste keuze voor continuïteit in een ploeg die haar plek in de Hoofdklasse wil consolideren. De competitiegegevens voor seizoen 2026/2027 zijn nog niet gepubliceerd — zodra het programma bekend is, verschijnen stand, uitslagen en speelschema op deze pagina.
