Positie 4 in de poule met 37 punten uit 22 wedstrijden (11 winst, 4 gelijk, 7 verlies, doelsaldo 50-37). ## Het seizoen Bijgewerkt op 1 juli 2026. Het seizoen van GHBS D1 is gespeeld. Na 22 duels in de Eerste klasse Poule B eindigt het team op de vierde positie — een plek die het bredere beeld van dit seizoen aardig samenvat: solide, maar net niet scherp genoeg om de absolute top te bedreigen. De eindsprint was wel van een andere orde. Vier van de laatste vijf wedstrijden werden gewonnen, met als afsluiting een 5-3 thuis tegen EHV D1. Daarvoor werd uit bij Ede gewonnen, en eerder pakte GHBS ook zeges op bezoek bij Deventer en thuis tegen Apeldoorn. Alleen de thuiswedstrijd tegen Twente D1, een 1-2 verlies, doorkruiste die reeks. Die opleving geeft het seizoen een positieve nasmaak, ook al bood ze geen zicht meer op de koplopers. Over het hele seizoen bezien hield het doelsaldo goed stand: vijftig doelpunten voor, zevenendertig tegen. De aanval functioneerde dus, maar in het middenstuk van de competitie liet de regelmaat te wensen over — zeven verliespartijen verspreid over 22 wedstrijden wogen uiteindelijk te zwaar. Koploper Almere D1 liep te vroeg te ver weg om bij te houden. Een vierde plek in de eindstand is geen reden tot zorg, maar de eindsprint laat zien dat er meer in zit.
