Het seizoen van Dordrecht H1 in de Tweede klasse Poule C kende een wisselend verloop. Over 22 wedstrijden wist de ploeg zeven keer te winnen, maar de defensieve balans bleek een hardnekkig probleem: 93 tegentreffers tegenover 51 eigen doelpunten laat zien dat de achterhoede regelmatig werd opengebroken. De grootste uitschieter in positieve zin was de 5-1 overwinning op Barendrecht in november, al leverde diezelfde tegenstander in de slotfase nog een pijnlijke 2-1 uitnederlaag op. De finale weken verliepen zonder zege — vier wedstrijden op rij eindigden in een verlies, waaronder een 3-6 thuis tegen Ypenburg en een 3-2 uitnederlaag bij IJssel. Koploper Derby eindigde 36 punten boven Dordrecht, wat de verhoudingen in de poule scherp weergeeft.
