Shinty D1 sluit het seizoen af op de tweede plek in de Derde klasse Poule B — een eindstand die het beeld van een consistent draaiend team weerspiegelt. Over 22 wedstrijden hield de ploeg amper voet bij: drie keer verloren, vier keer gelijk, en een aanvalslijn die bijna drieënzestig doelpunten per verloren punt produceerde. Het doelsaldo van plus 42 is in deze klasse geen toeval. Het slotakkoord was overtuigend. Na een nipte uitnederlaag tegen Gouda — de enige van de laatste vijf — volgden vier opeenvolgende zeges, bekroond door een 0-8 op bezoek bij Hilversum en een 3-0 thuiszege op Hoorn. De koppositie bleef buiten bereik: Kikkers D1 eindigde zes punten hoger, en met geen wedstrijd meer te spelen is dat definitief.
